Lifetime Breakage & Policy
Our ultimate goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Dent Gear Tools. If you receive an item you are dissatisfied with, you may return it unused within thirty (30) days** to Dent Gear Tools for a refund or exchange. There is a 20% restocking fee on all orders. There is no refund or exchange on custom made tools. Example would be adding a ratchet handle or customizing an LED, etc..
Please carefully read the following return policy to see if your item is acceptable for return. For additional assistance you may call Dent Gear Tools at 951-324-2148 and we will be glad to recommend a return procedure to you.
Should any of our standard* tools with a diameter of 1/4" or larger break under normal use, return it, and Dent Gear Tools will send you a NEW one. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges. *Shaved Tools, 3/8" Mini Screw Tip Rods, Bendable Tools, Whale tails, Lighting Systems and tools under 3/16" diameter have a warranty period of 1 year. If your tool falls out of this time period, call us and we will try to work it out with you. Accessories manufactured by Dent Gear Tools have a warranty period of thirty (30) days. All other Accessory warranties are covered by the manufactures warranty as applicable.
Shipped Merchandise Returns/Exchanges
Orders are typically processed and packaged within 2-5 Business days. Some items are custom built to order and take longer to process. Orders with expedited shipping will ship from the date when Dent Gear Tools packages and fulfills the order, typically within 2-5 Business Days. IE: If order is placed on a Monday the order may take 2-5 days to process package. If your package is ready to ship on that Thursday, then the order will be shipped using the expedited shipping requested. All shipping will go from the actual ship date not the order date.
If orders are taking longer than expected or needed, feel free to call Dent Gear Tools at (951) 324-2148 to discuss your order.
If you have a return/exchange due to shipping error, defect, or damage, contact us within 3 days from delivery date to receive a exchange. We will provide you with simple instructions for returning the item. Please have the invoice ready when you call. A copy of the invoice should accompany all returns. A replacement item will be shipped to you once the item being returned has been received. Please report items that are damaged or missing within 3 days of delivery.
Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of purchase in an unused, like-new condition. REPEAT- Returned Merchandise Must Be in an Unused and Original Condition. Dent Gear Tools does not accept Returns on used merchandise, sorry.
Please inspect your Delivery shipment before signing the shipping company's release. By signing the release, you are accepting the goods in their current condition. If you notice that the goods are damaged, you should refuse to sign the release. You can then call our customer service department to have us send you a replacement.
Dent Gear Tools is not responsible for merchandise damaged by customer misuse. Repeat- Returns will not be accepted for merchandise that has been damaged by customer negligence and or misuse.
Information contained on the invoice is helpful in the return process for your exchange or refund. If possible, please have the invoice ready when you call. After the return period**, products will be covered by the manufacturer's warranty as applicable, contact them as necessary.
- Use the original packaging or a strong corrugated carton.
- Pack and tape your package securely.
- Follow return instructions listed above.
- Dent Gear Tools recommends that you send your returned items via an insured carrier.
- Dent Gear Tools is not responsible for lost or damaged returns. You should purchase insurance on your item to protect it from these problems.

Refunds or Exchanges
If you receive a product that you are dissatisfied with for any reason other than a shipping error, defect or damage, simply call us at 951-324-2148. We will provide you with simple instructions for obtaining a refund for the item. Please have your invoice ready when you call. Your refund will be processed when the item being returned has been received. Refunds will be made by crediting the original method of payment (i.e. credit card, check, etc.). In some instances of return or order cancellation, a restocking charge may apply.
Please note: Shipping charges are not refundable. The Customer is responsible for shipping charges to return items to Dent Gear Tools. If the items are damaged in transit to the customer or if the the wrong Item was shipped out, Dent Gear Tools will pay for the shipping to send out a new item. Otherwise refunds will not include shipping charges.
Returns will NOT be accepted on the following items are for the following reasons:
- Any tools or accessories that are ordered according to the customer's specifications and are not standard stock items.
- Sales items other than monthly special promotions.
- Training DVD's.
- Merchandise that has been damaged by customer negligence and or misuse.
